Eagan, Minnesota
Situated at a hike-in/canoe-in only site, the project required Collaborative Design Group and Aune Fernandez Landscape Architects to carefully consider construction and access issues in order to preserve existing oak and pine trees in the surrounding environment. The A-Frame’s orientation, openness, materials, and thin lines create an almost transparent quality that feels like it belongs within the natural surroundings. The site location and peaked structure provides unique views as park users approach from the water or trail.
